DWARR - ANIMALS (1986 BRAND X)

i'm not quite sure what the hell happened here, but this is my guess (from listening to the record and staring at the album artwork) : in the early eighties, a south caroliner named dwayne warr got a hold of some good drugs and asked some guy to play a high school's collection of percussion equipment along to some heavy rock guitar riffs he had already recorded. mr. warr's tales of a cold and bitter world are presented to a cold and bitter world and, surprisingly enough, met with complete and utter ambivalence. dwayne attempts to record a follow-up, only to have his mind shit the bed completely. he becomes a born again xtian and destroys his remaining copies of his first two albums (1985's starting over + this album) in a massive bonfire.

VENOM8888 - DESTROY VENOM8888 (D-TRASH 2001)

evil sounding noise beats from chicago artist vlado ketch. a dirrty mix of tape noise, robot voices and chopped up hot 93.9 beats. venom8888 kept going with the terror raps on the followup, 2002's venom8888 vs humanity (2002, irk media). shortly afterwards, he released a heavy metal album and another, a tribute to slobodan milosevic and his efforts to decimate the albanian race.
